Before you write

How do the pieces fit?

Most of the collection is cut loose on purpose. Each piece page has a measurements table in centimetres, taken flat. If you are between two sizes, take the smaller for shirts and jackets and the larger for skirts and jeans.

Where do you ship?

Everywhere. Orders in India arrive in 3 to 5 working days, free over ₹5,000. International orders arrive in 6 to 10 working days with duties paid at checkout.

Can I return a piece?

Yes, within 14 days of delivery, unworn and with the tag on. Returns in India are collected free. Embroidered pieces made to order cannot be returned, and say so on their page.

Why does my piece look a little different from the photograph?

Everything is dyed, printed or embroidered by hand, so no two are the same. Indigo varies from batch to batch and softens with every wash. That is the point.

How do I wash block print and indigo?

Cold water, inside out, alone for the first few washes, dried in shade. Natural dyes fade in strong sun. Never iron over embroidery.

Who makes the pieces?

About forty people in five workshops around Jaipur, Bagru, Sanganer and Akola. Every piece page names the workshop and what they did.

Is this a real shop?

No. Rivaay is an invented label and this website is a showcase built by MK. You can place an order to see the flow, but no payment is taken and nothing is sent.
